During the construction of the camp of the coal mine project in Sharg’un, Uzbekistan, the project team learned that the municipal facilities of the local town was backward because of the underdeveloped economic level. There was no street lamps in the whole region because of lack of capital. The region fell into darkness at nights, which cause great inconvenience to local residents. The project team voluntarily offered to contribute 12,000,000 Uzbekistani Som for street lamps construction. The contribution was made in place within a month. The contribution made by the project team was highly appreciated by the local government, the client, and the local residents in particular, who extended in turn their heartfelt gratitude to CRTG.
