Niue - On October 21, The First Engineering Bureau of CREC officially handed over the China-aided Niue Island Ring Road Upgrade Project to the Niue government.
As a flagship project in China-Niue “Belt and Road” cooperation, the Niue Island Ring Road Upgrade spans 46.1 kilometers and includes repairs to the main ring road and internal connection roads, installation of safety features, parking lots, sidewalks, and lighting. Construction began in April 2023, and the project plays a crucial role in enhancing Niue’s transportation infrastructure, fostering economic development, and supporting Niue’s long-term growth objectives.
