On October 16, at the The First Engineering Bureau of CREC’s construction site for the Xiong’an-Shangqiu High-Speed Railway, the JQ900B launch gantry completed a 180-degree mid-air rotation, marking the first successful bridge turn in China.
Weighing 530 tons and with a span of 72 meters, the JQ900B gantry is a massive machine typically requiring disassembly to turn. The rotation began at 3:30 pm, with careful monitoring by the entire team. After 35 minutes, the launch gantry completed its 180-degree turn, achieving a milestone that accelerates project progress.
