Anthem of CREC—“Trailbreaker”
On September 30, local time, the completion ceremony of the main part of the Bolivian ESPINO Highway Project III, which was constructed by Chuantie International Economic Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd., was held in Boyuibe City.
The ESPINO Highway Project is a key cooperation project between China and Bolivia in the field of infrastructure. The Export-Import Bank of China provides preferential purchase loans, and China Railway International Group is the EPC general contractor of the project. The project is located in Santa Cruz Province, Bolivia, with a total length of nearly 160 kilometers. It is the core component of the passenger and freight dedicated line of the Bolivian National Highway 36 Network. It passes through the Guarani Minority Autonomous Region in the south of Santa Cruz Province and connects the main international transport lines in South America. It has important significance for improving local people"s livelihood and boosting economic development along the highway.
The total length of Lot III of the project undertaken by Chuantie International Economic Technical Cooperation is 53.9 kilometers, with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The main works include four bridges, one interchange, 110 culverts, about 2.88 million cubic meters of excavation, and about 2.13 million cubic meters of fill. Since the early preparation in 2016, the project department has overcome many difficulties, such as difficult personnel deployment, shortage of bulk production materials, and large construction interference effectively organized construction and production and fully guaranteed the sustainability of project construction.
