It is the world’s single-tower single-span suspension bridge with the longest span (780 meters), the world’s first single-tower single-span steel box girder suspension bridge, and the world’s suspension bridge with the largest tunnel-type anchorage (54 degrees). The bridge deck is a two-way four-lane highway with the design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The ends of the bridge are both connected with tunnels. The load testing proved that all the data were in the design range.
